| I'm updating.... wow.
Um... hi to Team Inferno... I'm posting this thingy on both my xanga & myspace, so if you see one, you don't have to worry about the other one...
Sooooo... my myspace looks way cooler than xanga & you can learn a lot more a/b me from myspace, so even though I neglect xanga, I despise myspace. I just feel like i can do more w/ a myspace than a xanga... umm.. I'm rambling again. Oh, well.
Team Inferno, I have no pictures , but I will await pics from those who DO have them. I think I got one pic of two of the TLs on the second floor, but not Roxy, so it doesn't really matter.
Oh, the memories. I will always remember James' "thunder bolt and lightning" solo, and Junior's awkward silence turtle... Frenchie's hair, too! I want to tell all of you - James, Junior, Sarah, Arthur, Callie, Jen, Laura, Alex, Mary, Katharine, Alyssa, Amber, Meg, Amanda, Hanna, Aryn, and of course, Roxanne! I'll never forget you guys!

| This entry is sensored to all males and anyone else with virgin ears:
I was forced to swallow a lint-infested pill the other day. I was having kick-arse cramps, so I reached in the cupboard for a Midol. Well, when I took it out, it was the last dose left. I popped the pill out of the packaging and the damn thing slipped and rolled underneath my refrigerator. Well, hell if I know what's been living under there, but like I said, I had cramps, and I'd be damned if I wasnt gonna let that last dose of Midol go to waste! So, I took a readily available paintbrush and reached under the fridge, retrieving my lint-infested Midol. I was victorious. Needless to say, I washed it off thoroughly before popping it into my mouth, but I swear there was still a bit of lint on it. My cramps are gone, but I'll probably get sick from all the bacteria... Such is life.
Yup. My Black History Month Stamp Competition Entry. Took me a good two and a half hours. Still sucks.
It looks much worse up close... Up close you can see all the lines and the crappy rough shading. That reminds me, I need to pick up my art from Kinley-Howard; I accidentally left it in there...
| I was a forensic psycologist today. Much fun dressing up for school with an official jacket. Very successful Mock Trial meeting also. Hope to see all members there on Friday. | | |
| Mock Trial Members:
I know you all have ACT matches and honors band/orchestra and other very important activities to attend, and I appreciate all you have done to try to juggle such busy schedules, but the way I see it, we have ONE -- (that is uno, ein, un, ONE) chance at competition this year... We meet EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. That means MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS too! If transportation is the problem, we can get people who are willing to drive you home after school -- I am one of them--. I'd like to see a serious attitude for once. Even if it takes skipping ONE orchestra practice or ONE ACT match or ONE other after-school activity. We only have two weeks and we NEED TO BE PREPARED.
We will meet this FRIDAY from 3:30-5:30 at the courthouse (Yes, I know we aren't in school on Friday; what a waste of a good afternoon, but it is necessary.). You must realize we have **** TWO *** Fridays before competition ... that means we have **** ONE **** weekend. Everyone needs to get in the mindset of their character; witness or attorney, and SHOW UP FOR THE MEETINGS. Without attendace, WE ARE NOT A TEAM. If we don't practice, we will not only lose, we will embarass ourselves in public. Remember, we're out there representing Wilson High School, let's show the other schools that the Wilson Mock Trial Team is not one to mess with.

Also, Ms. Meshaw and Ms. Medley have been so wonderful to help us out this year. I would like everyone to pitch in and maybe we can buy each of them a small gift as a token of appreciation. Try to keep it a secret; it kind of takes the magic out of giving a gift if they already know it's coming... The coaches are also asking everyone to invite their parents to the competition. Traditionally, our rival teams have had great turn outs for family and friends, and our team rarely has one or two parents come. We need to let the parents get involved in this thing also.
